What materials do you use?
As an ode to artisanal craftsmanship, our jewellery is handcrafted out of brass, embellished with
freshwater pearls and plated in 18 karat gold by artisans in Jaipur.
Can you run us through your shipping policy?
Once you place an order, you will get an email confirmation of the purchase, and you can opt to
receive further notifications via WhatsApp.
We typically ship between 2-3 days of placement of order, and another 1-7 days for the
shipment to reach you, depending on your location. If you are located in an area not generally
serviceable by our courier partners, we will reach out to you to find a solution for the same.
International orders will be shipped as per the local customs laws in your area, and will depend
entirely on where you are located and how long the customs department in your country takes
to clear the package. In cases where your order is delayed, you will have to check with your
local customs office, and we are unfortunately unable to contact them on your behalf.
While we ship duty-free throughout India, our packages headed to other parts of the world are
subject to the customs fees/duty and other taxes levied by your respective country.
Please note that we will not be able to reimburse you for the above, as they are outside of the
purview of Yamin.
What is your refund/exchange policy?
We do not offer refunds of any kind. In case you change your mind after placing an order,
please reach out to us within 24 hours, and if your order hasn’t been dispatched, we would be
happy to cancel it for you, and issue a refund that should come through within 15 working days.
If the jewellery you received wasn’t what you had expected, do reach out to us within 24 hours
of receiving it, and we will be happy to exchange it.
What if my jewellery arrives damaged?
We take the utmost care when packing our jewellery, and thorough quality checks are carried
out before we dispatch it. Our jewellery & packaging meet the highest levels of quality, and
we’ve had no complaints so far.
However, in case a product arrives to you broken, or damaged due to a manufacturing defect,
please reach out to us within 24 hours either via email at theyamincollective@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at +91 9167930266 and we will try our best to see what can be done.
We do not provide refunds for products lost in transit, or those shown as delivered. Do ensure
your delivery address and contact number are correct when you place an order so as to avoid
this.
In case your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or any other reason, we will
be happy to ship it back to you, but at an additional reshipment fee charged by our courier
partner.
How do I get my Yamin Jewellery fixed?
Made to be sturdy, our jewellery has been made with the utmost precision to keep it intact,
however if there is any damage or breakage to the jewellery, do reach out to us with a picture
and any relevant details, and we will try our best to have it repaired for you.
Certain things like chains or other design elements might not be readily available at a later date,
but we will try and do our very best for you. Repairs start at Rs. 450, but we will get you an
exact estimate and proceed once we have your approval.
How do I care for my Yamin jewellery?
Treat your Yamin jewellery like you would any piece of art. Clean it gently with a soft, dry cloth,
and keep it away from liquids of all sorts.
Dropping it from a height can cause it to break or chip. Store it in a cloth bag in the original
packaging or any other air-tight jewellery box, and as long as you care for it well, it will last you
years.
Does Yamin jewellery come with a warranty?
We work hard to ensure only the highest quality of elements are used to handcraft our jewellery,
and we try and employ the most sustainable ways to create a piece from start to finish. Our
jewellery is made to last, and will go a long way. We are so sure, we’ll give you a year’s
warranty on them in case of a material or manufacturing defect. However, regular wear and tear
such as scratches, dents or anything broken is not covered. We do not take any liability for
piees that might be stolen or misplaces/missing.
Jewellery purchased from a third-party vendor (another e-commerce/physical store or
elsewhere) will not be covered under this, and we can only take guarantee of what is sold
through yamincollective.com We will however need the original receipt to honour the same.
